Ways to Give

Want to make a difference in the lives of New Mexicans dealing with orthopaedic disease or injuries?  At the UNM School of Medicine's Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation, we welcome individuals willing to support our mission of providing quality, compassionate care.

Your Talent

Do you have a heart for helping others and taking care of the sick? UNM Hospital is a great place to volunteer. There is something that always needs to be done, from greeting patients to helping with events.

Your Treasure

Dr. Richard Miller

Please help support our residents and fellows to become the most expertly trained and compassionate, medical caregivers possible. Additionally, our researchers are always looking for better ways to provide healthcare to New Mexico’s residents. Make a difference in the lives of the people we serve by: helping to educate our residents and fellows in their respective programs; and funding researchers to discover better orthopaedic methods.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation at UNM School of Medicine today.

Programs to Support

There are multiple ways to give to the Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation:

  • The Fahey-Echols Resident Fund: This fund, when mature, will provide assistance for current orthopaedic residents completing their residency program at UNM.
  • The Moheb Moneim Fund: This fund provides funding to our 5 research fellows who are researching ways to improve the field of orthopaedic medicine.
