The University of New Mexico is participating in a Phase 3 clinical trial evaluating NeoCart®, an investigational tissue implant developed by Histogenics as a possible treatment for certain knee cartilage injuries.

Do you have chronic knee pain or a knee injury that interferes with your day-to-day life or your athletic endeavors? Do your knees ache, swell, lock, or perhaps catch? Maybe your knees don’t, but you know someone who is always complaining of their knee hurting? Well, Dr. Wascher is looking for patients with certain knee cartilage injuries to evaluate NeoCart®, an investigational cartilage tissue implant grown from a patient’s own cells. The procedure uses regenerative medicine technology that could provide an alternative to the standard-of-care microfracture surgery.

Healthy cartilage is crucial to the smooth and painless mobility of most joints, and has limited capacity to repair itself after injury potentially leading to a chronic condition in your knee. The NeoCart®, Clinical Trial is for athletes, weekend warriors, ANYONE between the ages of 18 and 59, who suffers from pain in one knee.

If knee pain is stopping you from living your best life OR stopping a loved one from being active, then this clinical trial may be right for you. To learn more visit, call (505) 545-6777 or Text knee1 to 87888. Std. Msg. & Data rates apply.
Caution: New Biologic. Limited by federal law to investigational use only and is not available for sale.
